Crazy Carrots

One of the more challenging aspects of gardening for me is to thin out fruits and vegetables. Thinning of certain fruits and vegetables is important so that they have room to grow and the results are big, hearty specimens. Well, I am practicing but did not do such a good job on the carrots planted in the raised beds this year. It was fun to see the surprise on your face as you pulled a few carrots out of the ground. Of course, Uncle Leo and Carol did not care what the carrots look like; they just enjoyed the fact that you shared the harvest with them ~
