Last Chicken Hatchlings All Grown Up

Remember last May when we our last group of chicks hatched? Click here to see their cute little pictures: Great Grandchicks and Munching in the Garden. We kept three of the five chicks and sent what we thought were two baby roosters and the surrogate mom to our friend Tom at Maple Creek Winery. Turns out the other two were hens too but we were left with quite enough hens (seven!). Any way, I wanted to show you how unique they are and the beautiful “Easter” colored eggs they lay.

We haven’t named the Black Copper Maran or the “Easter Egger” yet. What do you think their names should be?
