Happy Labor Day!

Another busy day at Harchut Farms! Along with the usual pleasures: watering, perusing each plant, harvesting, and hanging out with Grandpa, Percy and the chickens, I pulled it off! I made a yummy pesto for the freezer from what I think will be the last of our basil [unfortunately, we have a gopher invasion in the two-year old raised beds…more to come later], prepared Asian Pears for the dehydrator and made a bunch of zucchini bread! My idea of a pretty lovely Monday šŸ™‚
