Onions, Tomatoes, Peppers and Petunias

Well, we are having another very mild summer. Not too hot and you can tell by the tomato and pepper plants. They look happy and healthy, just very green. We have harvested only about 6 or so tomatoes~not counting the cherry tomatoes that I pop in my mouth whenever I am out there watering. I was pleased to hear Grandpa express that they were so sweet and tasty compared to what we find in the grocery store.

The onions that I harvested this week were the small green onions that Grandpa uses frequently in his concoctions. They were left in the ground and grew a bit larger but they still taste very good. I am letting them dry out a bit in the bed and will then bring them inside.

As you can see, the petunias are extremely happy in the upper garden. Pretty soon they will be taller than the tomato plants!
