Gardening & Family

Grandpa Frank took a road trip and spent ten days with us. We were able to celebrate his birthday, relax, go for walks, play in the garden, enjoy some good Mendocino wine and hang out with friends. Every time he visits, he leaves behind good feelings and a special treat. Once it was a rice cooker so that I could make rice for The Moops (the chickens). This time, he planted a beautiful impatiens border in our Upper Garden. He also helped me pull out some ratty looking day lilies. He even found time to help Grandpa with the front gate. It is almost operational!

What joy there is in sharing a love for gardening and nature’s beauty. Added a few pictures of the garden progress for July. Life is Good.
