Busy Day at Harchut Farms

There was lots of activity at Harchut Farms the last couple of days. Grandpa ordered and had delivered all of the tumbled cobblestone for the driveway and entryway. Paulie and his crew will be here at 7:30 tomorrow morning to begin tearing out the concrete and preparing the pad. Eight pallets of stone, a truckload and a half of road material and another truckload of sand were delivered. Grandpa completed the stairs down to the orchard and moved the temporary fence and gate back to the side by the old apple tree. He nailed all of the cross boards onto the existing posts along the back side of our property. The fence will give us more privacy and will be planted with vines and other plants that tolerate shade. This will soften the long line of the fence.
