Gardening is a passion for me. It is meditation in movement and stillness as well as therapy for my soul. Many important people in my life share this passion. It may be in designing and creating spaces, nurturing trees, plants and flowers or vegetable gardening.
Our first vegetable garden was planted years ago in Ramona, CA with help from your grandpa and your Great Grandpa, Grandpa Frank. We used an abandoned horse corral. Oh my, the dirt was rich with life. I planted WAY too many veggies but learned a lot about placement, quantity and sharing (with creatures and people). Each year since, we have been fortunate enough to have space to try out new things. I started a written journal quite a few years ago when we moved to Graton, CA and am now transitioning to this space in Maryland so that I may share my reflections and experiences with you, our granddaughters, and our friends and family.
